Our Name
Crocus is a flower that embodies resilience — it blossoms in every season from sea level to alpine tundra from the Mediterranean, through North Africa, southern Europe and Central Asia, and it’s the first flower to emerge, regardless of circumstances. In this way, Crocus prepares our clients to persist and to flourish in every environment.

Our Origin
We are Crocus – a technology firm that was created in January 2021 when Ana Quintana purchased intact the Tech Group that she spent 10 years building at UPD Consulting. We have extensive experience in data, data use and technical solutions that build resilience into our clients’ ability to adapt to the rapidly changing conditions.
Our Work
We are focused on organizations as living systems to drive social impact building their resilience and capacity for change in how they use data to improve equitable outcomes. Our clients include state departments of education, K-12 school districts, colleges, universities, educator preparation programs, and nonprofit organizations.
Our Commitments
We are dedicated to using data to accelerate the equity of opportunity for students, educators and stakeholders. We are particularly interested in creating opportunities for girls and young women to succeed in science, technology, engineering and math. We prioritize making employment and subcontracting available to women and minorities.
